To my family and my friends Thank you for the support that you all have shown towards Brad and I during this past one very difficult year. Nigel’s passing is a tremendous loss for Brad and I. For the past 8 years he has been the most important part of our lives.
Nigel and I meet in 2000. During these years, we shared a wonderful happy life together. He was a loving man and became more fulfilling when Brad came in to our lives. Nigel was a caring loving father always attentive towards Brad's needs. Even though Nigel and Brad shared two very short years together as father and son, the memories are in abundance, Brad is too young to remember but I will make sure that his memories will live forever for all of us. We did a lot of traveling together and made many friends around the world, he was a man who liked to entertain his family and friends playing table tennis, on the weekends going down to buraco beach to have a big picnic, playing Jenga and singing karaoke, on the weekends he would blast the music at night waking up the Chicala Boys saying “Come on over guys" he was a great dancer and he enjoyed country music and we would both dance a wicked danca da familia. Our home was never dull; it was open to friends at all times. Nigel was a hard working, dedicated, good hearted, considerate, helpful boss, and friend he would always put the needs of the others before his own. The BP team has lost an irreplaceable good colleague, friend and mentor. Nigel last project before he passed away was the construction of BP supply base which he completed and saw that his dream had materialized, and it is been dedicated in his memory.
Nigel will be missed dearly by myself, Brad and his family and all who knew him but he will live in the hearts of everyone forever with all the wonderful memories that he leaves behind.
