From E-mail received from Katia:
How life can be so short... How memories are still so alive to all of us...
Our Buddy is now in heaven (for sure) looking for all of us.
At the moment lets think of him as a traveller and one day we will see him again!

I still remember him  knocking our office doors (usually on Fridays)  wearing his blue jeans, polo shirt and his brown cowboy boots and say " hey folks, lets go for a beer tomorrow at my place, i cook!" or when i was angry with something and knocked his office door he always said "come in Kátia, what's the problem?" at the end, my problems were all solved and we both started laughing and talking about stuff that only friends talk about like him showing his brand new Harley Davison pictures or his mornings with little Brad that usually started around 05:30am...

Our boss, our friend our mentor is always with us because we keep on going with a very strong spirit of friendship, professionalism and honesty.

Our hearts are always with him and thanks God for putting him on our ways, even if for so few time because no one would ever put people together as a family like him.
Christine

Dear Brad, Jamila, and friends of Nigel's in Angola.

When I last saw Nigel it was during a vacation in Toronto when I was visiting his sister Lillian. Nigel was tired after spending the whole day working at renovating the kitchen in his family's home in Canada.

While drinking and chatting outside on the deck that evening, I asked Nigel how life was in Angola, his whole body language changed, he appeared less tired as he reflected on who he had left behind in Angola, and the expression on his face changed from tiredness to pride and happiness. As he continued to talk about Angola, and about his life there, it was clear that he undoubtably had found his happiness. Now looking back, that was the year Brad was born.

Nigel was clearly proud of his work and what he had done with his job in Angola, but also proud of those he worked with, and more so loved the people in Angola. But more especially it was clear he loved you and Brad very much.

God bless,

Christine

Dear Jamila, Brad and all Nigel's friends at Angola,

Thank you so very much for including us in the circle of Nigel's life at Angola and sharing such lovely photos and memories of his life there.

We knew Nigel from many years back when he was in Pakistan, in fact we used to be neighbors for a few years before he and his family moved to Canada.

Will always remember the parties, the good times and all the fun cricket matches especially the married men against bachelor ones.  He was a good sport and a lovely person always ready with a smile; it was such a shock when we got the news of his passing still can't believe it at times.

We think of him often when old friends get together and laugh at the silly and funny moments everyone shared with him, it makes the sadness of losing him a little easier to bear.  Will keep you and Brad in our prayers.

With fond memories he will always be remembered.

Take Care

 Dennis and Liz

The Song Nigel Used to Sing to Brad

I see the moon,
And the moon sees me.
God bless the moon,
And God bless me.

I see the moon
The moon sees me
Under the shade of the old oak tree
Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love.

Over the mountains
Over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be
Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love.

I see the moon
And the moon sees me
And the moon sees the one that I long to see

So God bless the moon
And God bless me
And God bless the one that I long to see

It seems to me that God above
Created you for me to love

I once had a heart
Called mine you see
But now it has gone
From me to you

So take good care
As I have done
For you have two
And I have none

I see the moon
And the moon sees me
And the moon sees the one that I long to see

So God bless the moon
And God bless me
And God bless the one that I long to see

I see the moon
The moon see's me
The moon see's the one
I long to see

God bless the moon
And God Bless me
And God bless the one
I long to see

Seems to me
That God above
Created you
For me to love

He picked you out
From all the rest
'Cause He knew
I loved you best.

I see the moon, the moon sees me
The moon sees somebody I want to see
God bless the moon and God bless me
And God bless the somebody I want to see.

It seems to me that God above
Created you for me to love
He picked you out from all the rest
To be the one that I loved best.

I had a heart 'twas true and good
But now it's gone from me to you
Take care of it as I have done
Cause you have two and I have none.

Barry

When I first met Nigel, he and Jamila were a couple, and very happy.
They were generous, warm friends, who loved to entertain, and were
always gracious hosts.

When Brad was born" they were fantastic, adoring, attentive
parents, and Nigel was a doting, proud dad, absolutely besotted with
Brad.

There was a marked change in Nigel after Brad was born, and he was far
more relaxed, a devoted family man, with fewer parties, replaced by more
intimate dinners and BBQ with close friends.

He was a true friend, and will be sadly missed, but he enjoyed life and
his time on earth, which is what most people strive for.

I'm happy to have met both and to call them my friends, and pleased I am
able to share these memories with you all.

All the best

Barry
